PLANETARIUM EXCURSION
Year 4/5/6
On Monday 10th May the Year 4/5/6 classes went on an excursion to Scienceworks to see the Planetarium. We saw a show called Solar System Odyssey. It was a fictional story about Jack Larson and his mission to find a planet (or moon), and with the help of “Trout Enterprises,” colonise the planet. Any story needs a few twists and turns and this one has a few, as well as facts about the planets and their moons. Although throughout the show you may feel a bit dizzy because of the quick movement on the dome screen, the overall experience is fantastic. We also had some free time to roam in the Think Ahead and the Alice in Wonderland exhibition. Nearing the end of our visit, we also got to go to the Sportsworks exhibition.
